What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site operators.

02

Cookies we set

This website uses three services on every page, and each sets its own cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising.

  • Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages people find useful. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_PQS2Z3LM8X, kept for up to two years.
  • PostHog shows us how people use the site: the pages they view, what they click and how they scroll. It may also record how a page is used, with anything you type into a form hidden. It sets one cookie, whose name starts with ph_phc_ and ends with _posthog, kept for up to a year.
  • Crisp runs the chat bubble in the corner of each page. It sets one cookie, whose name starts with crisp-client, kept for up to six months, so your conversation is still there when you come back.
03

Third-party cookies

Google Analytics, PostHog and Crisp are run by their own companies, under their own privacy policies: Google, PostHog and Crisp. Our website also embeds a third-party service that may set its own cookies:

  • Cal.com: the booking calendar embedded on our Book a call page loads within an iframe from Cal.com. Cal.com may set cookies to manage the booking experience. These cookies are governed by Cal.com's own privacy policy.

We embed posts from X (Twitter) on our homepage, but these are rendered server-side and do not load client-side X scripts or set cookies from X.

04

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies, including those set by Google Analytics, PostHog, Crisp and Cal.com, through your browser settings. You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually.
  • Block third-party cookies entirely.
  • Block cookies from specific sites.
  • Block all cookies (though this may affect how other websites work).
05

Local storage and similar technologies

This website uses local storage to remember your display settings (theme and motion). PostHog and Crisp also keep their data in your browser's local storage and session storage, for the same purposes as their cookies. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

06

Changes to this policy

If we begin using cookies in the future (for example, when the product moves beyond private beta), we will update this policy and notify users accordingly. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
